Pyrmont Bridge was used on the FOCUS (12) Album, by the band of that name.
Inspired by medieval bridges that not only spanned rivers, but also supported shops and traders of all sorts, and still do, (Ponte Vecchio, Florence), Roger envisaged the possibility of such a bridge, if built today. With balconies, curvilinear roofs and cupolas, such a bridge would become a meeting place and passage, separate from its surrounding environment.
Pyrmont Bridge is now available as an open edition print.
This painting was originally commissioned by the incredible Dutch progressive rock band, FOCUS .
